Ancillary belt tensioner

While replacing my alternator, I noticed that the ancillary belt tensioner appears to be sitting at an angle when looking from underneath.

It doesn’t seem right although there were no running issues so can anyone say if this is normal or should it be replaced?

Doing something wrong as can’t upload photo…got it now

It's not right. They wear on the spindle part which is spring loaded & tip, as yours has.
Renew before it fails. Thumbs Up

Thanks for confirming what I was thinking , will get one ordered now.

Given the amount of tilt on it I think I’m lucky it hadn’t failed before now.
