Is the 3.6 pump internals different? Externally, they look very similar to the 2.7/3.0 pumps, and utilise the same crank seal and bolt...
They are supposedly 17.5mm.MY14 TDV6

I also know someone that bought the 19.5 pump. But has decided not to fit it due to poor quality.
One example shown to me, the original Ford pump has a drain hole by the crank seal,

The 19.5 pump has a very rough casting and no hole.

Yargo,
You say the 2.7 pump sizes changed? The pump that has come off my 2.7 has a 13.5mm wide oil pump georotor. It is the newer reinforced pump casing, i.e. not the original pump. Are the latest versions of these 15mm wide?
I know that the oil pump georotor on the 3.0 is 15mm wide.
A TDV8 oil pump georotor is 17.5mm wide.
I would be very grateful to find out if the very latest 2.7 oil pumps have 15mm wide georotors.
Thanks,
Adrian

Yargo,
Thanks. New pump for the 2.7 ordered. I'll measure it up when it comes!
Appreciate your time to respond.

Cant believe people are so paranoid about oil pressure in these engines that they bought and installed oil pumps made in someone's garage.
I wonder how much of the metal swarf ended up going round thier engines.

Yargo,
You are correct! New 2.7 oil pump received and has a 15mm rotor. Old pump was 13.5.
Much appreciated for the pointer/tip.
