No Network
Reported by Martin:
GSM module locked into "no network" state, pulling power did not help. Fix for me was to swap the SIM card for one from another network, power up the module, and then swap back to the original SIM.
Bear in mind that some operators use others' networks (e.g. in the UK Virgin Mobile use T-Mobile [now T-Mobile/Orange], giffgaff use O2 and Tesco Mobile use O2).

Too close when calling
If you try to call the GSM whilst sat in the car from your mobile this will almost always fail and cause a flashing red LED, It seems it fails if your to close to the GSM with your mobile. Two methods that have worked to reset the GSM are to pull the fuse or move away from the car and try to call the GSM unit again.
Length of Burn Time
There has been a lot of discussion on the board about what controls the length of time your FBH will run for when setup with the Danhag GSM unit. My first GSM unit went faulty and was replaced by a new one. The old GSM had Software version 25 Basic-a, but the new one came with Sw ver 26-Pro-a.
With SW 25 Basic-a I could only get 30 mins max running time on the FBH no matter what time was set to run in the GSM setup. But with the new unit having SW Pro installed I can now run for 50-60 mins if wanted.
Unfortunately the overwhelming majority of Danhag units are supplied with the Basic-a software.
So it is confirmed that the FBH can be run longer than LR say if you can use Pro software in the Danhag unit and TTV protocol.
