Great colour choice. “There are only three sports: bullfighting, motor racing, and mountaineering; all the rest are merely gamesâ€

Thanks for your kind comments all ...I know that I was one of those who originally didn't take to the colour coded look ....and when I first saw the new MY in Silver I didn't really like it either . But having seen a few about they do grow on you and the photos can never do it the full justice of seeing it in the flesh 8) I accept that the colour coding will remain controversial for some time to come ...but let's face it ...if you want new D3 ...you're going to have to get used to it.
I've just done the first 100 miles in it this evening and must say that the ride is superb ...all my passengers (who had been in the old motor) felt that it was much smoother. It may be that it's just 'tight' like a tiger....only time will tell. Mrs. DG is very impressed by everything ...and that really is a shock.21 year LR veteran > D2 GS 2003 > D3 S 2006 > D3 HSE 2009 > D4 HSE 2013 > D4 HSE 2015 > D5 HSE 2018 > DS HSE R-Dynamic P300e 2021

I chose to have the colour coding, but shied away from having the bumpers done:

But they do look 8) don't they
Did you decide against the rubbing strips DG
A question though, does it come with the uprated ball joints or does it still have the weaker ones fitted I'm not as good as I once was........but I'm as good once as I ever was.

Looks good
Did you spend the night with it in the garage or were you able to tear yourself away.

I understood that the rubbing strips have been withdrawn for 'techinical' reasons
I would have thought that all recent build motors would have the uprated ball joints HG ...maybe Nick can clarify ?21 year LR veteran > D2 GS 2003 > D3 S 2006 > D3 HSE 2009 > D4 HSE 2013 > D4 HSE 2015 > D5 HSE 2018 > DS HSE R-Dynamic P300e 2021

It does look good DG. They look much better in the flesh than in pictures although it doesn't look at all bad above
First modification should be a DISCO3 sticker.2007 Porsche Boxster (987) 2.7

I too was a bit negative when the 1st ones of these came online, I did'nt warm to the painted bumpers back then, but seeing on the road, on the forum and in showrooms, I, like you DG have grown to like them. IMHO it was the only way to go for LR to freshen up the exterior.
My HSE looks positively bare against a new HSE.......

Like it DG
I think a rear ladder would make the rear end look a little more 'manly' IMO. Not that I think its girly
