Agree Yodel are sh*te...we were sent an email re Amazon order to say they had been unable to deliver a parcel to us...we replied that no delivery driver had been near our property as we had been in the house all day...two days later another email saying our parcel had been left in our porch...we don't have a porch!...seller wasn't interested...we eventually found it in the garden of the neighbour across the road left on a garden seat! Our DPD delivery guy is great...but we once paid DPD for a next day delivery....the person took the day off work to receive it and it was eventually delivered 3 days later...DPD were not the least bit bothered about it 'read the small print next day delivery is not guaranteed'... we were told!
I'm sure the guys themselves are spot on and I'm sure they take a lot of abuse for working for the company, but this is about the network.

Ordered a Stove Fan on Monday from Ebay
Sent out Tuesday by the company with Yodel tracking
Text on Wednesday morning, showed that there were 97 drop offs prior to mine being delivered
Driver delivered parcel at half past 5 and still had a smile on his face.

Had an order from Asda, supposed to have been delivered by Yodel. Two parcels, one arrived 24 hours late and the other never arrived but Yodel say they have delivered on time.
No end of hassle with Asda trying to get this sorted out. Had the next day delivery charge refunded on one parcel and the other parcel had to be resent. So Asda has lost money due to Yodels incompetence.
