The RLD units work well ...as for removable tow bars ...as Gareth states... best taken out when not in use.

I have a 2016 Graphite with the RLD protector so I can confirm that it does fit - just make sure you get the Adblue version.

I would certainly fit one even with the modified version of the winch.

I also keep the keys in a metal tin when not using them. I can stand with that next to the doors on the car and they won't open it so hopefully that is sufficient shielding to prevent key hacking.

Finally, as said, stick the removable tow bar in the storage holder in the boot.

If are determined they will have it but anything you can do to make them think again is worth doing.

Spare wheel anti-theft

The new wheel protector - 3 locating lugs to align with wheel nut position and central tube for cable winch end - all four on a welded plate encased in the plastic cover material - unlike thesilly 'hump back bridge' shaped support previously used

[/img]

Two images of the metal tube that is fixed as an outrigger to winch unit. As far as I can tell at this moment, when cable is attached to cover and wheel placed on cover, operating winch will pull male element of cover into the female element of tube and completely enclose cable.

Has anyone had any experience with these?[/img]

I recently fitted a full size spare alloy in place of the dodgy space saver... and wow I didn't realise how obvious it was that there's now a nice expensive alloy under there

Luckily I had a protector from uncle Ray sitting waiting to go on the same time - but I'm still painting the wheel black so it's less obvious Shocked
