Hi, AFS won't function because the necessary wiring is only added when the vehicle is supplied from the factory with it fitted.

Just Google "Land Rover", "Autologic" the name of your area. Alternatively, just ring your local independent LR garage.
There's hundreds of independent garages that do it. Cost varies, but normally I've found about £25 for a single enablement to £40 for three enablements. Anymore and I'd definitely shop around. It only takes a couple of minuets and the right equipment.

In fact Mr.Nicklelight I've done a search for you if your location is correct.
There one 7.5 miles away from you in Coleorton that's a LR independent and has Autologic equipment. Can't have Googled very hard?

In fact I've taken a look at their general servicing prices for a Disco. Talk about cheap and they use genuine parts.

Depends if you want the AFS to work or not. AFS functionality is controlled by an entirely separate ECU. Therefore you would also need to source the AFS ECU and any appropriate wiring harnesses and plumb it all together before you even went near getting it enabled by someone. Can, and has I think been done, but not easy.
However, I think you can put AFS lights in, get someone to enable xenons and they will work as standard xenons but of course without the AFS functionality (if you can get hold of a reasonably priced pair of AFS lights).

Hi all,
Just trying to confirm a small technical issue with my xenon fitment, I have fitted xenon and can get the led and main beam to work not the xenon dip beam to work!!!!! I have used a friends Snap-on verdict diagnostic tool but with no luck.
Is there a tool I can buy or pay someone close to activate headlamps change the CCF files to make lights work correctly.
Please can anyone help!!!!!!! would be much appreciated and willing to pay to sort this problem out.
Ps Couldn't find ccf files on code reader, would of thought it would have been in Body control module!!!!settings.
Cheers

On the D4, you must activate in the CCF as you say, so either take the car to a local independent, or buy something like the nanocom evolution. Justin

Hi,
I thought there was a deal on here some where to buy a nanocom!!!!!
I am defiantly sure I will use it again on my D4 for something.
I would be very interested in buying one, for a reasonable price/ if not second hand.

This is one of the mods I'm interested in doing ... I can see the link to Xenons Parallax33 posted earlier in the thread but was wondering what you all did with your old lights - did they go on the bay or similar auction sites ? Stolen - D4 Loire Blue
