Xenon Headlamps ??

I have just fitted some Xenons to My D4 which Wiggs has enabled Thanks again Adrian Thumbs Up

Question 1 the lever in the back of the headlamp for continental driving what position should it be in for UK driving Up or Down ???
Question 2 Does both bulbs headlamp main and main beam light up when flashing with headlamps off as with mine only the main beam bulbs light up ??

As the handbook is a bit vague and only states info for LHD !

The only reason i ask driving last night and was being flashed as i was a dazzling Embarassed

So any of you chaps could have a quick glimpse at your lamps and let me know the correct positioning before i need to start adjusting out the glare.

Many thanks in anticipation

Martin it says that on mine but says for LHD drive vehicles Shocked

What we need is for someone to have a quick look, you can check on the nearside lamp without removing it just take off the rubber grommet off the xenon side and stick your hand in you can feel the lever Thumbs Up

From memory on my last D4 the levers were opposite, one up and one down, when I went to France just swapped them around amd reversed when I came home.
Adrian do the adaptives not have the levers?

Isn't that common with D3s? With the height of the vehicle and the Xenons I think they are quite a dazzly vehicle...

As far as levers goes, I can't tell you either way, but my dipped beam has a definite flick up to the left hand end...

And what's that about adaptive a not having the levers?
 Access height is for girls.

And fatties Wink

Mine has adaptive and has levers
Park against a wall and see what beam pattern is like. \___ or _____ or ____/
With levers in position to trim kick up the beam is real flat.
Btw it should be first pattern for RHD
