In WTT "Start" button greyed out so used "Parking heating"
Hi,
suspect this may be something I am doing wrong
I have used the WTT software on a previous car (RRS 2005) a few years ago and now have a D3 2008
wanting to check if the FBH is working?
I have Sorted a obd cable to connect to my laptop and the FBH, with a back probe pin into pin2
I have got one of Martin's correct cables from the shop sometime ago but not used that yet until I see if it works ok
(dont tell Robbie this ) I have picked up the live and earth from the battery direct.
went for Diagnosis and the WTT software initialised and gave 2 faults
1 failed to start at just over 8000hrs
2 low fuel at 8155 hrs
dont know how long ago that was
cleared faults and went to start it BUT the start button is greyed out
Am I missing a step or doing something wrong, have disconnected and started again, the faults are now gone and shows as Off State, have looked (but not tried) the Component tests and they look black and able to use.
Am I right thinking I should be able to tick the start button or should I be ticking the Parking Heating button
Help please, poor picture of screen shot running v2.14 and volts 12.51

Hi,
Updating my own thread as I have this morning connected the laptop to FBH again and hit the "Parking Heating" button
FBH fired into life and ran nice and cleanly for 10-12 minutes then "Off" and into cool down mode and shut down
Looking at the Working Data it seems it may have been only the second time it has been fired with PH
Start Counter PH (parking heating) is now reading 2 it was 1 and the Working duration has gone from 2 to 13 minutes
Start Counter SH (suplementary Heating) is still reading the same 2025 and 478hrs 26minutes
Now I have to decide Do I really WANT a remote for it at least it should be ready for the colder months (July onwards )
