The Wootton Bassett march is a publicity stunt. They want trouble, headlines, the march to be banned, or to attract turkeys from the BNP and the like. They want TV coverage and interviews, blooded heads, fighting on the streets of that most patriotic and noble town. Let them march. Let their absurd world view go unchallenged on those streets and afterwards, it'll be forgotten.
The worst thing that could happen IMO would be for anyone - the police, the council, would-be do-gooders, etc try to stop these clowns.
As peteJ said, it's part of living in a democracy (although I wouldn't say that's a drawback).
Many civilians are killed in Afghanistan. There is an unfortunate amount of collateral damage and innocent folk loose their lives. But what muppets like Islam4uk don't mention is that despite their loss they don't want AQ, Bin Laden or the vestiges of his lot/their plans any more than we do. They're normal folk who want to get on with their lives, raise a family, grow crops and make a living. The people who seem to want to fight on draw support from morons like these guys.
