Straight flue through that isn't an issue as the wall isn't vertical unlike the other products i've mentioned. Looks like a nice set up. Paul.

Any updates yet? I'm definately doing to be buying a frontier stove or similar for camping past the end of this summer, so would be keen to know more if this goes ahead

Yes I was just about to buy one when I saw this thread - As Paul has correctly identified there is a need for someting like the frontier that doesn't have to vent vertically, specifically for awning roofs.
Something specific for this situation would be ace  D4 XS, gone, much loved, never forgotten
