[Withdrawn] 2005 D3 HSE Project (Now no longer for sale) |
|
For sale is my 2005 D3 HSE
This car is my pride and joy which I was looking to keep for many years, so invested in a full service kit from AF. The weekend before last I fitted new oil pump along with cambelt, tensioner and idlers. This weekend was time to change the oil.. Got new oil in (not even had the engine turned over) and while fitting new filter, managed to snap the sensor on the leak off pipes.
So as it stands, it's been partially stripped (but my big old hands just can't go any further) and needs new leak off pipis fitting. (new ones supplied)
So non-runner, and will need winching onto a trailer.
I'm gutted to be doing this. but just don't have the money to take it anywhere for repair
I would like £2,800 if possible.
Thank you

Do you have any photos of the interior and exterior ? Would greatly assist with your sale,
Any extras added to the car ? previous owners ? also where in N Yorks are you near.. A1 or M6 side ? I want to see the sweets before I get into your windowless van... I'm not stupid!

So sorry to hear this too.
But instead of giving up and selling, why don't you approach JAS independant LR dealer?

They're an excellent business, not too far from you, and may be able to get you sorted.
Good luck in whatever you do. ...... always on the road less travelled 🚧

I would love to hand it over, but unfortunately funds are a bit low for that option at the moment
I'm just having one last push this afternoon to see if I can get any more done ..

Well... just seems in life at the moment like anything that can go wrong, will go wrong. while changing the leak of pipes one of the ends has broken off inside the injector, so now struggling to get injector out. It would have to be the back left one.

On the positive side, just done a search and I guess the back right one would have been worse
