Looks pretty good, not sure if it will sit nicely where the LR satnav should be.

I'd caution against splashing out on these just yet. The Road Angel 6000 unit upon which it's based was dire with their navigation application being very poor and the unit looking and feeling very cheap. We're awaiting a review unit. It'd be great to see a solution with OS mapping built-in but I fear this won't be the one we want!

On a related note, I know of some other OS solutions about to break cover within the next 6 weeks one of which is very promising, I'll let you know when it sticks its head above ground Smile

Poland 2007 Discovery 3 TDV6 XS Manual Zermatt SilverDiscovery 3

Have a look here:
http://www.eclipse-web.com/news/index.html
There seems to be a system where you can plug Tom-Tom like Sat Nav into the double DIN car stereo...

Not sure how feasible this is in D3.....

Known as the Tomtom DUO and for the time being at least, US only. I saw this unit at CES in Vegas back in January. A nice idea poorly implemented. Why are US stereo's so old fashioned! Basically a TomTom ONE in a package that can dock with the base unit. It also uses the TomTom's display to show radio station and CD track information.

TomTom traditionally announce new models for the European market at CES which begins in Hannover next week.

Thank you, the Disco is my test bed with half a dozen GPS systems installed at any one time! It's even going to get a polish for when it goes on display at our GPS Roadshow in April which'll be a first!
