Wiring Connector repair kits...
Need some help with sourcing a new connector plug and terminals...
They are for the blue connector on the transfer case ECU (in behind the battery), as it is rotten...

Car is an 06MY. Looking for any place that sells the connector and terminals. I asked my local dealer, who wanted to charge £775 for a complete wiring loom. Just wondering if there is a repair kit available for this connector
Any help appreciated :thumbsup:

There is a part number on it, but no LR, or even Ford numbers on it.
I had thought of getting one from a car being broken, but need it pretty quickly. Cant really afford to wait on it being posted etc. Unfortunately, we dont have any breakers up here who deal with Disco 3's...My D3 Build Thread

I have a supplier that will send samples ( great if you just want one ) ...but if your in a rush then it's not much good for you as there in Germany G4 Gone ...but not forgotten

sorry, looks like a dead end
every LR dealer will have a wiring loom repair pack with some terminals and plugs as it's mandatory tool issue but only some of the most common connector blocks are in it, this one does not seem to be in it
if you look on topix the connector should have a YPC number then you can check if it's in the kit

Have a word in the workshops at your dealer. Their repair kit LRT-86-010/1 (new number 418-S549-01) has leads you want: YMI000480 (new number 418-549-55). the blue connector YPC114160 I don't think is in any kit.
The leads are preterminated with a short length of wire. They are very expensive.
I have given up buying the wiring repair kits from Landrover/SPX as they never have the items I need in them.
Probably best to remove the wire from the block, find a terminal that matches at Maplin, Farnells, RS, etc then make your own up & refit into your exsisiting block.

Thats exactly what I done, found a handful of terminals that fitted the ECU terminals, crimped them onto the existing wiring, and some heatshrink over the terminals to prevent any shorting etc.
Not a pretty repair, but it is only temporary, and got a customer out of a hole, until we can source a replacement connector
