Windscreen Wipers - thought I'd ask....

Hi,

Bought my first Discovery (2007 SE) back in February, and absolutely love it! Nothing wrong with it, other than the windscreen wipers have become a little noisy when they're first switched on, & when they change direction at the bottom of the screen - if that makes sense. Even in steady rain the noise is still noticeable - sort of a squeaking noise I guess....

Nothing serious, but once you notice it it becomes bl@@dy annoying!! Crying or Very sad 38,000 mile on it, so I'm guessing I need a new set of wiper blades right?

Unless advised otherwise, I'll go for a set of genuine LR 'blades, but thought I'd better ask the question first just in case I'm missing something obvious.

Thanks in advance,

FL Thumbs Up

Having just got my second set of Valeos from speeding, I also tried the rear wiper blade they recommend for only a fiver.

Afetr a few weeks use I can report that it works well - may not last as long as the Valeo, but at the the price, I'm happy.

I find the LR and even the Valeo wear out quick and start juddering

Given that the fitting is in fact not a special aero blade type but standard old school you can fit almost any blade. The Bosch ones are as good as any I have tried and seeing as i sell these i use them. But the retrofit aero blades much cheaper will also do the job

One of these http://www.hids4u.co.uk/21-retro-fit-aero-flat-beam-blade.html and one of these http://www.hids4u.co.uk/22-retro-fit-aero-flat-beam-blade.html as drivers side is shorter Smile
