Windscreen wipers
Anyone got any advice on how to stop the wipers scraping on the screen. I have just bought new wipers and the problem has started again.

I have the valeos which have proved quieter than the LR items but not always silent. I find that washing the windscreen and then cleaning the glass with windolene provides a smooth enough surface for the wipers to run silently...but it doesn't last for ever.D3 HSE, Stornoway grey, 2007 MY, side steps, privacy glass, door protection strips.

I'll open myself up to stoning and say that the valeo ones aren't all they're made out to be.

A nice fix is to put RainX in the washer bottle.
Not only does it stop bugs sticking, the water beads and rolls of the windscreen. The added bonus is the glass seems to stay really smooth and there is no noise from the wipers at all Life is short...get it dirty...as often as you can.
