Windscreen number 3!
Driving along the A832 to Gairloch this morning, admiring the staggering scenery as I went along. Big logging truck came the other way and BANG! Big rock hit left hand of screen and put a large chip and 12 inch crack.
In a way, I'm glad it hit the screen and not bodywork. Screens are easily replaced and insured without loss of ncd.
Still annoying though.

Look on the positive side even more. It could have been the Jag.

Bad news.Thought I was going to need another one the other day....it was like a gunshot, but when I found the impact point it was so low on the screen it had only left a tiny mark..any higher and I would definitely have been looking at a new one....I was amazed (and relieved) considering how loud it was "Better to remain silent and be thought a fool, than to speak out and remove all doubt" ?.....what rubbish...

Del, it could never happen to the Jag, it's got stealth mode on the settings screen- the stone would never find it!
