2006 Discovery 3 TDV6 SE Auto Zermatt SilverDiscovery 3
Window Tinting

Hi all, I'm new to the forums but have taken the plunge and bought an 06 SE model which I am collecting from Land Rover Guiseley on Saturday. One of my first jobs will be to get the windows tinted. I've emailed a few companies and the general price seems to be about £150. Does that sound fair? Are there any questions I need to be asking? The prices range up to £250 but I don't know enough to compare the differenmt options.

Midland Tinting seem to have a very good reputation (from posting in here) I also now that Pentagon Film, or 3M is supposed to be the best available - but only from hearsay Whistle Never get mad - get even !!

06 D3 now gone to family member and still going strong at 265k

previous vehicles:
04 D2 TD5 - (clocked 189k from new)
52 X-Trail 2.2 SVE
various euro boxes !

Cheers for that. Ideally I am looking for someone locally (Leeds / Bradford Area), but it is very useful to know about the branding of the tints. I will ask them what brand they use and see what they say.

did it myself for about 20 quids worth of foil, same as profis use. good for summer, took off rear passenger shades for winter, safer driving. There's one wheel on my wagon, but i'm still rollin' along, it's the cherokee, they're after me, but I'm singing a happy song
