Just had all windows except fronts privacy tinted. Can recomend CCS WINDSCREENS in Chelmsford. Details as below.
Price 250 plus the dreaded VAT , still £150 cheaper than dealer who USE THE SAME PEOPLE.
Their yard was full of Range Rover Sports on dealer plates.
Did a great Job and all in a day. Windows taken out dried with infa red and all edges finished brilliantly.
Not as cheap as sunshades but will never break and I think will be a great resale feature.

Hi Ian,
Got any pictures of the new tints? I'm thinking of getting mine done. Also, I see in your gallery you have mounted your satnav in the space where the LCD fits. How did you secure it ??

Do they treat the glass, or is it a "film" ? ..............Somewhere in-between my old D3 and what's to come next .........

I didn't opt for privacy glass as a factory option because the driver side windows had to be clear with the rest being dark. I think that this looks stupid, even if it is compliant with some regulation or other.
Did you get the row 1 windows the same colour as the row 2 and rear windows? In which case does that mean you need to take a lighter tint so they can be the same across the car?

front rows not tinted
The extra tint makes the fronts look darker, on certain angles.
Was well aware of legal issues, but was offered to do all , but must sign a disclaimer
