Dust - film needs removing and after a good clean new film fitting.
Get it done asap as dealers have a habit of changing suppliers to the cheapest fitter all the time . . . ."To finish first, one first has to finish ...."

Think the fitter is in house.
Will do, taking it back first thing in the morning.
Wasn't sure exactly how easy it would be to remove the film after they'd applied it though.
It's not too bad. Longer they leave it the harder it becomes - but it's ok when you know what you are doing. Fitter may work in the valet bay or "in-house" but i bet he is freelance / not employed by the dealer."To finish first, one first has to finish ...."

or pentagon autotints. however, are they dust spots or air spots around things like the heated window elements. the y a water based liquid to adhere the tint film and this can take a few weeks to dry. the air bubbles will then dissapear..Duncan

Thanks all.
Had a discussion with the dealer this morning who agreed that a couple of the windows needed redoing. But his attitude was that with film there was bound to be the odd dust spot per window.
I had to walk away because I was not happy to say the least.
At the moment it's booked in to have the lot taken off and a refund.

Already spoken to him Going as soon as the old can be removed and I can get time.
Pity though gotta find a new dealer as well, not too happy about this episode and their reaction!

Sadly the dealers 'attitude' was that some dust spots were inevitable and, although he would replace two of the window films, others with a dozen or more dust spots were deemed reasonable by him.
Only gave me two alternatives - replace two and accept the rest, or have it all taken off and a refund.
Bit peed off after seven years of using this dealer. Seemed a bit of a short-sighted attitude.
Life can be a at times
Gotta get it done somewhere else now.

Can I ask a cheeky question -
How much is it to have the windows tinted? I think I might be tempted by a slightly heavier tint on mine

£275 plus VAT for fitting the film.
The dust spots were free
My advice is talk to the installer first and see what their guarantees are
