Wind deflectors - bad for paint or not? |
|
I know, I know some people not mad about the look of them but last year I bought some to fit and I'm hoping to chuck them on this weekend coming.
Question I have is that if they go on and I find I dont really like them , if I take them off, will the paint work be underneath?
It could be argued I need to respray my car anyway due to some rash but I dont want it peeling off in lumps if I decide to bin the deflectors
Any advice would be greatly appreciated A happy childhood ... is the worst possible preparation for life.

hi tanters,
there shouldn't be any problem, it's only double-sided sticky servo tape being used, it may leave a bit of glue residue from it, but nothing that a bit of glue remover can't shift (again without paint damage)
We have the wind deflectors on ours (already fitted when we bought it) and they seem to work in a way, i.e. let window down a couple of inches whilst raining and you don't get wet etc, but i'd say they seem mostly for show really.

you must have really upset the chick for her to do that I believe that every human has a finite number of heart-beats. I don't intend to waste any of mine running around doing exercises.
