Winch tray for A-Frame?

I was thinking about purchasing a winch ready A-Frame and was wondering if it is possible to buy just the winch tray. I can't afford the winch now but I think it would look odd driving around without something filling the gap in the A-Frame.

Additionally, has any one kept their front PDC sensors after fitting the winch?

Plenty of members have fitted winch version a frames with nothing between the feet of the frame but their number plate. It doesn't look odd at all in my opinion. Certainly less odd than an empty winch tray Wink

I left my front PDC active when my winch was fitted. 10forcash fitted it and simply taped up the inner sensors inside the bumper cover, so only the outer ones did anything. It's reasonably effective. Another forum member managed to get 10forcash to move the centre sensors on to the winch tray - that was on a FFRR, but I'm sure with a bit of ingenuity, it must be possible on a D3 too.

FFRR Winch tray has holes for PDC's but it might be worth getting the PDC FFRR fittings from TLO Thumbs Up

So if I unplug the center two PDC sensors the two outboard ones will still work?

No - you'll get a warning and the whole system won't work ...

But if you stick some gaffer tape over the centre two and tuck them out of the way, the outboard ones will work and the centre ones will see nothing.

Okay, so now that I've got that figured out I just need to find a winch tray.
