No, just the sensors and they work as they did before. Challenger had to make a few amendments to the mount to get them to stay as they were but they are all fine.

As another D4 owner with LR winch I agree with all the previous comments on , maintenence, cleaning, spooling etc.
I fitted the LR item because I was able to pick up the winch mount for £175 on Ebay, second hand obviously, the winch was new. All fitted by nicely by the guys at Frogs Island 4x4 in Abingdon.
The genuine item gives a very purposeful look to the front of the car.
BUT ....
Your installation looks the business, very neat indeed, very nice job
I wonder how many winch equipped D4's, discrete & LR OE, we have on here ..... Nick

The HART team D4s round here are now been fitted with both hidden and out in the open winches, not sure why they are fitting both sorts now, used to be just the out in front ones.MY17 D5 1st Edition Namib Orange

You can get spring style clips so that the number plate covers the hole - would make the front look much better IMHO.Mark.
