Winch
To winch or not to winch that is the question
Is it worth putting a winch on the car, i can see the use for one if you need to self recover (also if you need to remove a car parked across your driveway )
this is one of many mods i'm thinking about doing to my Disco and its the one i'm not sure about but I'm def getting a A-frame and I want to get the right one.
Some feedback about a winch would be very helpfull

Chris, if you're thinking of a winch and want your front PDC to work, think carefully about which A bar (if any - you don't need to fit one with the winch) and where you're going to position your PDC, it would make sense to fit a sump guard at the same time as the winch - lots easier than a retrofit
Ken- HTF did you break your winch? - I didn't feel anything pull on my wallet

The thing is Chris when you fit a winch you will get stuck and you will have to use it, I think its something to do with Murphy’s Law

also factor in to the cost a BORDA or LR winching course - well worth the money and a valuable lesson in safety
