Will WD pay for fault finding? Any experience?

We have a troublesome D3 at work that has The top level of WD cover, same as my car, and whilst I've had no probs with them, this car has fuel flow problems somewhere between the tank and the injectors and the dealer isn't sure where to start.

Question is how do we go about fault finding with a dealer under warranty given that we won't know the problem til we have run some tests, etc. Anyone have a similar experience?
