Will I do it???

Cryptic I know but:

Before the Keilder event picking up 5 17" wheel & tyres (Bow down Disco Duck and digitaljunior) and 3 19" FFRR rims (eBay purchase), at the event picking up 4 19" tyres (not mine, onward shipping to the Highlands for fellow member) and another 17" tyre ( Bow down iconic and sarumlight).

Simple question, will I get it all in the wagon?? Getting a bit nervious, have I bitten of more than I can chew?? Also picking up 2 tow ropes but they can sit on my lap if needed.

We could let the air out. That'll help!

I'll help you pack, or at least bring the camcorder Rolling with laughter

[Edit] I'd have thought you'd get 6 across with the middle seats folded and 4 or 5 across the boot so it's just squeezing in a couple more.

Ps was trying to tie them down flat as if they are tied down edge on they still roll around. I've had 9 in the car at one time, not 10 and three rims! Crying or Very sad

Idea have you not got 10 wheels and 3 tyres in your small stockpile that you could test fit?

You can get 4 FFRR 19's (3 x19 + 1 x17) standing on the tread across the width of the standard load space.
Surely you will manage to get 3 17's on the folded back seats as well?

I've had four side to side in the boot between arches. Must be able to get another 4 or 5 between back doors. Maybe two side on and four on top of these? one on passenger seat, one on your lap while you drive Laughing

I had 2 x 17" Kumho KL71 stacked flat behind my driver seat on last year's Tunisia trip, with room for one more on top, IIRC. Next to them was the Engel with room to spare, so I would guess that you might be able to stack another three behind the passenger seat. That's 6 wheels so far. Thumbs Up

Now, if you can fit another 4 wheels in the main load space. That's 10. Thumbs Up

Put another one on the passenger seat. 11. Thumbs Up

Stick the last one over your head, which makes for two spare tyres in the driver's seat. That's 13. Thumbs Up

No problem, then, Derek. I reckon you've got room to buy one or two more. Whistle

Thinking about seeing if I can get 3 columns of 3 staggered through the flat area, remaining wheel & tyre jammed in between column and tailgate and the rims where I can. Will be fun. Don't tell SWMBO but will try tomorrow. Whistle Whistle

How 'bout fixing one under the spare? Surely there's enough ground clearance to carry another one underneath?
If all else fails, on the roof!
