I have a PDF (steps for changing a lower tailgate stay) that I'd like to add to the wiki, but I can't see how to go about it. Do I need to send it to a mod to deal with, or ... ?

You need somewhere to store the PDF first 
So upload the PDF to the gallery: https://www.disco3.co.uk/gallery/upload/
You can them edit the wiki and post a link to the PDF, or give me a nudge and I can add it in.
