Think you’ve got the wrong size there with 275/75/20 Shocked

Sure you don’t mean 275/45/20, that’s more comparable with the other size you mention.

If so, no rubbing issues on the 275/45/20, but even with 275/50/20 your more than likely to have issues.
So 275/75/20 (if there is such a size) is way off the scale.

Can’t advise on 255/55/20 except these are normally used in 255/50/20 with no issues.

Ive recently switched to 255/55/20’s.

Blackcircles are listing Grabbers and Duratrac for fitting next week.

Just put your postcode in and it should offer you plenty of options

I think you’ll be fine if you dont use access mode and only drive in straight lines!!

Honestly, I took lots of time to run through the measurements and reading threads on here and on other forums (sorry, I have sin’d, forgive me), but those folks had spent the money and found out to their peril/cost what does snd doesnt work

And came to the conclusion that 3 recognised dimensions mentioned on here were the way to go.

I have 255/55/20’s on a D4 - I have the faintest rub on the passenger side, in reverse on full lock when the car has self leveled on our off camber drive. That says to me that Its on the edge of as big as I could go, sidewall depth wise. Your stepping up and wider (is that size off the new defender?).

On a final note - 1 other size to think about is 265/50/20 - slightly wider and taller than the stock recommended 255/50/20

I have half worn 285/50/20 MT on 20in RRS wheels. Doesn't bottom out. Only slightly touch but not damage the liner on full lock, not sure about offroad tho.

^ …… but yours is a 2005 D3, clearance is a totally different story on a D4 (or late model D3).
