Good to know heading there for 10 days the first week in July stayed at Looe cc site last time in Cornwall.

Mark we went there with one of the CC rallies for a halfterm week. Pitches were nice size but not huge, some of the site roads were a bit tight turning into them as they have some very large rocks on each corner. Cub house swiming pool was packed but bar prices were very fair and after about 2100 we would go down to the bar on the beach which was much quiter and a nice place to sit and relax. The beach was large and clean with an are marked off for power boats and jet skis to come and go, all in all for a large comercial site it was well run we thought.

Thanks Russell will keep an eye out for the large rocks on the way in and out.

Stew getting a front row pitch right on the beach, spotted this site two years ago when we where on a day out and noticed it was right on the beach something hard to find in Cornwall.

Last year we stayed at The Meadows Campsite just inland from Pentwan. Adults only. very quiet and peaceful, with a retro theme but facilities very good. Run by a lovely couple and the site had a welcoming feel. We use Caravan Club CLs mainly and this was a nice change with a mixture of tents, ages and camper vans. worth a look at the website if you dont like the large commercial sites. No pub or club, just the way we like it and lots of walks from the site, can even walk on bridleway to Lost Gardens of Heligan.
