which switch for Auxillary Spot Lights

Hi Guys

I just fitted some auxillary spot lights in front of my grill. Everything is fine. They work great. But I dont like the switch to turn them on and off. It dosent look like it was factory fitted.

Are there some switches, which I could use that looks factory fitted?

Thanks for your help.

Something like this which is apparently a standard Landrover switch and available at parts suppliers. Not sure where the pic came from.

Try Vehicle Wiring Products, Car Builder Solutions or any other car electrical supplier for ideas as aesthetics is a personal matter (I quite like the switch that came with the aux lights for example Laughing )

@garrycool, that really looks perfect to me. Do you know what typ of switch that is?

@discobizz, I bought my aux lights from ebay. They came without a switch. Do you have a picture of the original switch? Where is this switch located normally?

Greetings André

The original switch is the one pictured above in garrycol's picture. The OEM position is where it is shown (on a LHD car) or opposite on a RHD car. You can see mine just to the left of the steering wheel, next to the right hand vent in this picture:

The switch I believe is sold separately from a number of online LR parts specialists. ISTR there was a recent thread with the part number too - it will pop up if you do a search
