Which new battery???

Hi - hope someone can help me...battery has died on my 55 disco...all fine with alternator and no excessive draining when locked...

Anyone got any ideas for a new battery that will fit?

Should I go standard or for something like a yellow top?

If so, what size etc?

If you're in warranty, it should be covered, if not, then Yellow top is more used for deep cycle (Winching etc) rather than every day use (AFAIK)
Standard should be fine unless you can find a higher amp one that fits (please let us all know Smile ) Thumbs Up Bodsys Brake Bible

I know J Censored P use an Optima Red Top as their OE battery - they are only 50 AH - but quite high CCA which is more important for a cranking battery

AFAIK an N70ZZ would be the right size
just need to get a brand that has a good reputation
like Century or Yuaza....def not deep cycle Pete
