Which Fuse is for the Screen Washers and where do I find it? |
|
Hello, sorry I'm a numpty, but I've read so many posts about this damn fuse (washers not working, no noise, nothing) and I'm still none the wiser, apart from I'll probably lose some skin doing it...
Where is it????
Ta!
Andy Peter, are you drunk? No, I'm just exhaused cos I've been up all night drinking...

Behind the glove box on the passenger side. From memory I think it might be fuse 11 or 14, but it's listed very clearly in the handbook and how to remove the glove box (swings down) to get to the fuse box.
Getting to the fuse once you've got the glove box out of the way is another matter..... be patient and don't drop the fuse !!!
Sorry can't be anymore detailed
Darren.

Fuse 11 and it should be a 15A one (was originally a 10A but technical note came out from LR to upgrade to 15A).

Awe, that's great to know, just bought a pack of two 10A ones from Halfrauds for £2 the other day.
So I'll now need to wait until they both blow before I get the 15A ones.
Why oh why don't they sell them singley !!!

Good post, mine went a few days back.. Must be an epidemic.. Perhaps they weren't designed to be used too often..
10A fuse had blown, couldn't get at the spare 15A fuse, took one out of 19 instead, row 2 12volt outlet. (I didn't know there was one...). Changing fuses is definitely a job for a SWMBO with small hands.. Make the most of this life, you may not have a Landy or skis in the next one.
