I need to replace the front discs and pads.
Should I go for standard LR parts or is there a 'better' alternative? If so, approx costs?
Thanks. Andy C

not sure 'better', but some on here have used drilled disks with 'greenstuff' pads and had no detrimental effects. (in fact positively less brake dust)
Others will swear only Genuine will do (and why risk 2.7t failing on substandard brakes)
Me, I went for non OEM disks and gen pads. Been fine since. Some 'cheap' disks aren't always balanced correctly, resulting in wheel wobble, but my bearmach ones were fine Bodsys Brake Bible

Its your call, but cheaper discs cost me more. I went for Britpart front disks, but suffered from brake shake (steering wobble under braking), swapped discs for some genuine ones via Nick (TLO), everything else was the same, brake shake gone. Maybe I was unlucky, who knows - but I wont do this again.
