Hi, A quick guide.
Remove the battery, (wait for 'P') light to go out on dash before removing leads) remove the plastic surround, (after unscrewing the heatsheild cover) remove half the battery carrier plastic (3 M8 nuts down through the plastic) remove the heatsheild (just pulls out of the clips upwards). you have to just work around the air con pipes. Remove the two bolts & release the spring clip & 1 x self tap bolt which holds the long small pipe on & remove. Remove the electrcial connector, now remove the three long bolts holding the egr to the head (careful not to drop them) after this there are two bolts (facing backwards towards the rear of the car) that are quite difficult for access, but are easier when you can move the valve slightly to get at the inside one. No need to disconnect the rear end of the EGR cooler.
Put on the new valve on, & bolt it all back up.
Sorry if I've forgotten anything, still a bit early for my memory!
good luck
regards
Steve
