Oh right sorry I missed that. Just wanted to be able to reply to for sale topics when they come up as I know that they often don't hang around for long and need to have something on the car by the end of Nov.

I'll try to think of some actual replies to posts over the coming days!

The tdv6 has the same calliper but smaller diameter discs and calliper carrier

Here's my 2007 tdv6 fitted with v8 discs and carriers and l322 rims from a 2008 car

I was considering spacers before discovering this solution

I'm happier with standard Land Rover components and better brakes

If anyone else comes across this - TF152 18" wheels which seem to be a popular suggestion - will not fit the V8 due to the larger caliper and disk size

DrunkDonkey,

Just curious if the 295/55 R20 did or did not fit the discovery?

Thanks

Hi there, I ended up going with 285 50 R20 Cooper Discoverer AT3. A mate of mine has 285 55 R20 tires on his with no rubbing. His is an 06 D3 on Stormers also

Thanks for the info.

I was thinking of trying the BFG 265/60 R20 or 275/55 R20. I have recently purchased a D4 due to the D3 now having covered 305,000 miles. As I use it for work it carries a heavy load all the time and I like the higher load rating - standard pirelli are rated 109. I have been using General Grabber AT3's rated at 111 and these made a massive difference to the stability.

This week I bought and mounted these 20"rims. I believe the come from a L322 vogue. After the purchase I read this thread and realised I might need the smaller wheelnuts. But I was lucky, appearantly these rims came from 2006 or later model because the D3 nuts fitted.

The front brake callipers only miss the rims by a couple of mm. (my D3 is a 2005 V8 ). I could be in trouble when it's time to fit new brake pads. The tyre size is 255/50-20 which according to my calculations is the exact same diameter as the original 255/55-19 tyres.

What I like most is the looks, to my opion these rims suit the D3 very well:
