Hi Richard

Found the details ref the alignment company, there in Hooly , surrey and many here including myself have used them, they come highly recommended, and extremely knowledgeable in what there doing

Also mention that Ur a member from here

http://www.topmarkstyres.co.uk/

The system they use is hunter and at the end give u a print out, before and after adjustment

Kwik fit should have given u a print out

Top mark tyres , Alas closed at the moment with the current situation but just wished to share the link

Indeed really need to get that steering wheel angle sensor calibrated to ensure that’s correct , it’s fitted on ur steering column and indeed if that’s out can cause all sorts of issues

Like prof G also says , plugging in diagnostics will indeed guide u of what’s going on, also as u mention getting ur front tyres replaced , particularly if there very low on tread pattern

Also as mentioned getting diagnostics plugged in is key , plus indeed what Prof G mentioning of them coming up for sale , will at least help u narrow it down and it will get extremely expensive if it’s just changing parts
Wished to add only had my disco 4 x years and gained a good amount of knowledge but don’t like advising others unless I’m 100% sure it’s correct , always leave that to the experts here

Ur in good hands with prof g as he’s extremely knowledgeable

Plse keep us updated and goes without question if I can help will be more than happy to do so if I know the answer but it’s also such a fantastic community Thumbs Up

Ps, I’m in swanley , so if u have to come this way , I’m more than happy to plug my iid in for u , as it’s vin locked I’m not 100% it can reset it but certainly see if it’s out , can also read any faults within the landy

So if u get stuck please just send me a pm , Can Easily do the 2 x metre distance Rule

hope that may help in a small way until such times ur able to get ur own diagnostics

Just looked

can do the following on other discos

Full diagnostic capabilities (free of charge on any supported vehicles for the IIDTool BT)
• Fault read / clear
• Live values
• Control outputs
• Service / test functions (this includes service interval reset)

Can’t do on other vehicles

Advanced programming functions (IIDTool BT: one free VIN, additional license available at 60 GBP):
• Suspension height modification (this can be quite handy for your customers on specific situations)
• ECU Flash
• Car Configuration File editing
• Component and system calibration (steering angle sensor calibration etc)
• Advanced functions including backup / restore, save profiles – vehicle system settings and
configurations are read and stored as a backup file for a restore function, various changes

Funny enough I feel my reward is being part of such a fantastic community , along with making friends along the way , Inc being able to chat about landies as long as u want
Plus better still , can get the mick taken out of u in such a professional manner and all for feee Rolling with laughter

What’s not to like , snigger

in all honesty doesn’t bother me if I spend a few hours or be it days, as at the end of the day that simple thank u makes me feel that I’ve at least helped someone , in the same token of how I’ve also been helped over time Thumbs Up
