Love the look of these wheels and tyre combo -
anyone know what they are please?
Will they go on a 2016 D4?
Hope you are all safe and well.

Fondmetal evo corse dakar zero 18s.

They will fit the LR4. I also very much like the look, but I'm stuck with 20s on my LR4, with new tires fitted just before I purchased it, so am also looking at Fuel Vapor 20s, my (sad) plan being to put winter tyres on my stock 20" LR Landmark rims and then move the new AT tyres to my new rims (probably the Fuel Vapors).

Think I've got 19" D3 wheels on mine at the moment with GG AT3s, but they will need changing at some point.
I can't remember the pros and cons of 18 vs 19 vs 20 inch rims.
I know that my D4 originally had 20 inch wheels and I think felt a bit smoother when driving.
I wonder how big this set up would be against my 19 rims and At3s?
Sadly those don't look like a cheap option either!

The smaller the rim, the higher the tyre, the better it is suited off-road...
More volume tyres can be deflated better (bigger footprint) without damaging the rims etc....
So bigger than 18 inch is considered ON road only by definition (by the real off-road addepts)
More stable at higher speeds....
I am not saying they can’t be used off road, just saying what is considered typical off-road or overland use and what not..
Many overlanders considder 17” as ideal... but on a D4 18” is the smallest you can mount, regarding the brake disks.... Best regards
Harold
