WHEELCHAIR OR SCOOTER HOIST FOR D3 |
|
Guys I need some advice rather quick here.
Im due to take delivery of a D3 in September and need a hoist that will lift a disabled scooter into the back of it. The hoist needs to be fitted in the rear of the car and be able to lift the scooter over the drop down tailgate.
Has anybody on here had a hoist fitted, or know anybody who has. If you have i would be very grateful if you could supply me details of the name of the company or person who fitted it.
Its quite urgent i get one fitted as my partner cant drive the D3 until a hoist is found and fitted.
You can either leave message on this thread or PM me.
Yours

Try one of the companies that do conversions for wheelchair access- e.g. Brotherwood automobility. They'll probably suggest a ramp and winch arrangement, on the assumption that the rear space will be large enough for the scooter. Time flies like an arrow; fruit flies like a banana
