Wheel Arches - Removal Tips.

Hi all, can anyone offer any tips on removal of all arches, i have purchased a spare set for colour coding, and want to remove the originals without damaging anything if poss, just incase it all goes pear shaped and i have to put them back.

You won't damage anything to bad. The pins behind the rubber on the raer door rust so put some wd40 on them. I replaced them once out. All the push clips that hole them on get stuck in the body and I found most broke when trying to get them out. Maybe wise get a load form LR before the swop. Front easy enough. Don't lose any of the little center plugs of the clips. I removed each wheel when I did it. Not sure everyone would though. I also had mudflaps which I removed. Again all pins were rusty so be careful not to take the head off the screws, and again I replaced all the pins and greased them too. Other than that it's quite easy Thumbs Up

Past: but not forgotten D3 HSE x2, 5 TD5 disco2's, 1 200tdi disco1, 2 300tdi disco1 one of which was a commercial, Off roader with a rather large spec, ARB's and big travel suspension to name a few.

The clips have to bought in minimum quantities of 25. If you break a few PM me and I'll post you some - I only need enough for one rear arch (long story).
