Wheel alignment in Cape Town
Hi,
Do any of you if there is a tyre place in/around cape town that has the equipment to lock the suspension in order to do a wheel alignment?

I used at N1 City.
they drive the car round the corner to LR, put it onto the tight tolerance mode drive it back to and do the alignment.
back to LR to put it into normal mode and all done.
I was very happy with there service.
Apparently they do the same at other stores but it then becomes a longer drive to LR.
cheers

MATTIE.
Any TWT can do it now. They all have the electronic equipment required.

Indeed for all that wonder I confirmed that yesterday.
however they want to charge an extra R250 from the normal alignment cost just to lock suspension.
@DiscoJ : When you do it @ N1 City do they charge extra?

It certainly wasnt listed as a seperate line item on the bill.
I haggled with them on the total cost because I was buying 5 BFGs.
Could well have been built in to the total cost.
R250 for a couple of minutes to drive around the corner twice feels a bit steep, you could proabably negotiate it out of the total price.
