What's wrong with this picture?
Just noticed a couple of subtle changes to the appearance of my off road screen?
1. Where's my green diff locks open icons - now just outline black againts the background?
2. Where's my red car on yellow background HDC icon - now a black silhouette?
Car's been parked up for a few days, but everything seems fine (no boings or messages).
I dont think I imagined the colours before? Those of you still around will confirm this..... won't you?D3 HSE V8...

Not that Im aware of? If it has, then it's a backwards step - surely the on-screen HDC colours matching the little button mades sense? The screen sort of looks "Naked" D3 HSE V8...

Just had a quick search of the forum but there are so many "diff" threads I'd have had more luck searching for the letter A. No errors so Woody, your theory may be right - I'll put a call into the dealer and post the result.

The sat nav on the move upgrade does this, and possibly the use of YIW500250 either (as it also updates the software).IE - 05 D3 TDV6 HSE - Zambezi Silver

Asked for the Sat Nav patch at last service, but ........... it wasnt done.D3 HSE V8...

They may still have updated the software though, but just not ticked the box to enable on the move inputs.IE - 05 D3 TDV6 HSE - Zambezi Silver

Update
Dealer said there is a fault - they can't confirm if the Diff lock are working correctly, although they said it should generate a fault code if not, which it isnt. HDC was easier to test and that seems to be working. Try as they might, they couldnt get the padlock to lock (mud setting low range etc, booting it etc).
But... they did concede that is may just be a display thingy, so the snart money is still with your diagnosis bkehoe.
It goes in tomorrow.D3 HSE V8...

Thats rubbish! That screen is the same as the latest models. There is nothing wrong with your diff locks or anything, just your dealer! As said, they have not ticked the box

So it goes in this morning to have a box ticked that they should have ticked when I asked for the Sat Nav on the Move patch to be applied, and which wasnt, and they dont know their car's well enough to know what the 4x4 screen looks like after patch (properly applied or otherwise) or what it looks like on the newer models?
Oh well should at least leave the dealer this time with the patcth applied properly. Any bets on them wanting to charge me?
I said the smart money was on bkehoe - looks like I'll be paying up. Better still I'll ask the dealer to.
I'll see what happens.

Back from the dealer - Sat Nav on the move applied correctly and they confirmed screen display does change to the above after patch.
