Glad to hear you have made up your mind to keep the active rear diff and goodies... a wise choice!
One thing you will notice after your trip to Brisvegas: how refreshed you all are after a long drive! I have done the Sydney-Brisbane trip last summer, and have had two return trips to Melbourne... the D3 is a mighty long distance hauler! 8)  8)
Make sure you wave to all the other D3 drivers!
