Well they suceeded.........Scum
Well the 2 scrotes that had previously (3times) attempted to relieve me of one of my lightforce spotlights succeeded last night . At 0011hrs my CCTV picked up 2 youths walk up my drive unscrewed the front of the spotlight, removed the bulb and run off. They definately knew how the Lightforce was assembled and dis-assembled. I believe that the scrotes were after it to go lamping with, although they don't have the rest of it, probably going to bodge a battery onto the bulb and into the reflector.
The wife and i were in bed watching tv and the cctv monitor was on next to it. There was a brief period where the monitor went blue and when it came back on the light was gone. We jumped out of bed dressed and downstairs wiyhin 2 minutes off it going and they were nowhere to be seen. I then went on the hunt for them in the local area with the dog. The wife then phoned the police and they said they would be there within the hour. Swmbo reviewed the cctv coverage and said that it was 2 youths in hoodies one in a dark top and the other in a light coloured one. At that moment i came across 2 youths matching said description and i then followed them around the estate at about 0030 in the morning. Swmbo informed the old bill that i had then in a fenced in park and was waiting for them to arrive. The lone WPC eventually turned up and then went to speak to them and the 2 young females that had joined them. It was absolutely hoofing it down at this point and the WPC told me that she would meet me at my house. anyway it turns out that it wasn't the offenders and that they were 2 young lads who had snook out of there house to meet these 2 young lasses who had also snook out, they were pleased to see the old bill as seemingly i had them up following them around the estate. There parents were not best pleased that they were out as the WPC had rang their houses and visited them to back up there stories.
Anyway to say the least i am not a happy bunny at the mo and now need a lens cover and the reflector part of a lightforce 140. I think i will need to get a handheld one that the local gun shop stock just for the said bits. Oh and the joy yet another crime number with accompanying letter and the guarenteed leaflets on crime prevention. POT NOODLE NAVIGATION CHALLENGE 2010 WINNER

I have 2 spotlights on the PIR sensors covering the drive and the front of the house. Didn't stop them, mind they can be defeated. When they go on its like day light one is 500 watt and the other is 250 watt. I put up a second one to scan the Pass side of the cars as the other was blind to that side of the cars.POT NOODLE NAVIGATION CHALLENGE 2010 WINNER

Yeah he's a good looking lad unlike his dad. Hopefully i will get this resolved sooner rather than later as getting up each day and looking out the window expecting something else to have gone is starting to do my head in and i will end up doing something daft. Sorry to hear about that. It might be worth getting gates if you haven't already got them, fit a sensor so that you are alerted when they open. You won't get false alarms and you can make the sensor very discreet. Normally they will always open the gate to get in.
