Hi to All from Huddersfield |
|
Morning,
Just joined, thanks for having me.
I'm Richard, Rich to my friends.
I'll be the owner of a 2008 MY HSE on 22/5, moving from a Dizzie 2 that's served the family well for 3 years.
Need a family charabanc, to keep SWMBO happy, ferry any number of 6 grandkids about and more importantly, out of the Jag.
I look forward to contributing where I can and taking advice offered, should the need arise.
Rich

Hello Rich, only joined here a few days ago myself and needing (wanting truth be told) a barge for the same reasons, let’s hope you nickname isn’t a precursor to what we need to be when we obtain our new steeds! 😄

Hey everyone.
Just bought my d3! Have owned a few landys over the years.
Thought I'd found a good one. Would appear not.
Currently broken down in Nazeing 10 minutes from the garage I bought it from with what appears to be a substantial coolant leak Dan Claydon

Hi everyone, im Tracey me and my husband have just brought our discovery 3, we have had a few different landrovers and a couple of range rovers. I have got trouble with my parking sensors, all on driver's side both on front and 2nd one in from the end, at the back do you think it could be the wiring loom or all 3 sensors

Hi all I’m hoping someone will be able to help with a problem I have with my d3, basically I’ve lost all sound , Bluetooth, sat Nav ( stays on lr screen but can use if hold screen and press home for 7 secs), it’s just had a new amp but in case that went again my partner also has a d3 same sound system so we swapped amps and mine works in his but his doesn’t in mine , we can trace the red light to the radio and Sat Nav back into the amp but it does not leave the amp ? Any ideas how to fix please

Hello
I am another newbie on this forum. Bought my first Discovery 4 in january as my secondary car (more about that later). I bought it as my parents were replacing their Range Rover P38a MY 1997. I am very lucky to have a dad that used to work as an technician at an official Land Rover dealer in The Netherlands +10 years ago. I guess that is where my enthusiasm for this brand started!
The Disco I own is MY2010 with the 2.7l V6 engine and automatic gearbox. It has about 172000 km on the clock. About once a week I take the Disco for my commute to the school where I teach. Also once a week we use the disco to tow our horse trailer. Normally I do my commute with a 2000 VW Golf 4 SDI and 320 000 km on the clock. Yes, you read that right, that VW is my primary car as it is ehm... more fuel efficient
When the VW dies (which will take another 300 000 km) I am hoping to replace it with a Defender.
My father and I hope to learn a lot about the Disco 4 on this forum. In July I will started posting about a roadtrip to Denmark with the Disco!

Hi All..... so at this point Im a dreamer and not an owner but I hope to rectify this in the next few months.... I like to know what I'm getting in to when it comes to cars hence why I'm here..... I guess the up side for everyone on here is that I'm not going to be asking (stupid) questions for a few months and I'm well versed in using the search function

Hi All have been a Land Rover man for a while ran a 200 defender for 10 years and a D2 for a while! Had the D3 for 10 months now not completely trouble free! And need some technical advice! Absolutely love the car! But need to get to the bottom of a few gremlins
Thanks Geraint
