Weird docking station under arm rest?
My D3 has Bluetooth factory fitted so I am unsure what the docking type station is on the under side of the arm rest, it looks like it would except a phone type device but not quite the right fitting (half way up the length of the body of the vice) the bracket has a release button either side, does anyone know what this would have been for? Thanks KEV

There's two ways of having an in car phone.
There's the bluetooth way and the hard wired way via the cubby box holder.
To use the latter option, you'll need a Nokia CR-3 cradle ( it's the only one that fits ) and a suitable Nokia phone.
Mine has both options as do many other D3's.

ISTR there were a few cradles available, at least one for a Sony Erricson.

Not sure, I thought it was Nokia CR-3 only.
Can't think that I've heard of anyone fitting a Sony Ericson into the cubby box connector but I might be wrong.

You shouldn't need to do that. What phone do you have?
