Weird (Alarm ???) fault or something else

2009, Disco TDV6, HSE, Auto, (RHD)

Have had a weird fault over the past couple of days.
The car drives fine ,locks and unlocks without problems however, when I open and come to close the R.H. (Offside) rear passenger door and it is almost closed about 6" ajar before reaching the latch the alarm sounder gives a very brief and quiet chirp which lasts probably less than a second.
Initially I thought it was either a dry door hinge or door strap but I now know it's from the alarm sounder.
Doesn't happen with the other doors, bonnet or rear tailgate and there is no "Door not closed warning on the dash. When I lock the car everything is fine and the mislock alert works if a door is not closed fully.
Anyone else had this happen or can you Guru's throw any ideas into the pot.
It's minor and not affecting the car but niggling me Laughing
