surely than drag your truck through a freezer do what I have done refit your outside temp sender (hidden down behind the front grill) for easier access through the front grill,disconnect the sender put it in the freezer for two to three minutes reconnect and it tricks the car to thinking it's at a minus, as in my case -21 degrees but anything below 5 degrees will suffice.
easier still buy a can of instant freeze from a diy shop or plumbers remove front grill lightly spray onto sensor and hey presto your onto a minus
