Hasn't Ent/Wiggs doen just this? Or maybe they didn't get enough time to do it?

Not sure, but they were def trying..... Thumbs Up

As long as you can get it to fire up, can't see a reason why it shouldn't Thumbs Up

You thinking of fitting one to your swimming pool too then huh? Wink Or are you preparing for an energy crisis this Winter? I have a spare coil in my hot water tank that's looking inviting for a mod...

As far as I can recall, you will need:

Webasto heater
A Webasto oval timer (can be used for on/off as well as scheduled events - the oval version produces normal on/off and w-bus signals to control the heater; some heaters need one some need the other)
A Webasto fuel pump (this is directly driven by the heater)
Wire to connect up the relevant bits
A diesel tank
A heavy duty 12V supply.
Pipe for the plumbing.

The heater itself is pretty much an independent device; it's been modified to work on the D3 but it should work fine without as during the process of getting one running manually in the car, the only thing that stops it is the car talking to it. Once the car shuts up it works fine Smile

Some relevant info can be found here : http://www.disco3.co.uk/forum/topic15454.html
