Webasto Control Available Very Soon
Hot news guys.Sorry about the pun
The Webasto heater control will be available very soon and I even have an estimated price with fitting, but not going to publish it yet obviously, but it isn't as much as thought it was going to be.
But first, I would like to see who REALLY is interested in the OEM add on available through me only at this stage. Please show your interest below.
I will add it is not going to be a remote control unit, but a timer. LR have beaten the boffins at this stage, but they are going to persist depending on interest.
Go for it. let me know.

Interested depending on price and affect on warranty though LR should cover the costs as it rectifies their error

Price I think is not bad at all. Warranty, Webasto are OEM to LR anyway and that is being sorted right now by them.

Definately, once the price has been seen. A remote would be better though, so would it be worth waiting or are the 2 complimentary.DS3 TDV6 HSE - Silver with Alpaca (old one) Gone

Remote is bugging us all in the development. The D3 just will not play the game with a remote at this stage. It may not be worth Webasto's time to develop it further than the timer in view of the promise by LR to release a fully working system in the MY09 model.

Well done for all your perseverance together with Webasto.
Is it intended for self fit?
Is there a facility for immediate start as well as timed.D4 HSE

Hi Brian,
I am very interested. Can you give some idea of the price range for interest ?
Also
Where/how does it fit and what are the functions ? Time range etc.
Thanks for your hard work on this.
