Kidz - when you say water in one of the lights, I take it you mean within the reflector itself and not behind the front cover...?
If the latter, then that would be relatively normal as these are the clip-om covers and are not fully watertight.
If the former, then double check you haven't inadvertently loosened the light by turning it too many times. Otherwise it does sound like a perished seal. The next American ex-pat that calls it a "truck" is going to find out what 2.7 tons feels like on their foot...

Nope its not the cover, its actually in the lamp, behind the lense.
When you say, unscrewed too far, not quite sure how far, too far is !!
My lamps are secured to an a-bar and hanging down from the bolt fixing above the lamp. The lenses are rotated, as far as they will go to the right....
Can you advise, how you adjust them, so they are not unscrewed too far and how to the the water out !!
No idea how far they will turn - never tried . Normally you need to undo 4 screws to start getting to the bulb housing. There is a rubber seal. You might need to check this to see if the seal is sitting correctly. The next American ex-pat that calls it a "truck" is going to find out what 2.7 tons feels like on their foot...

I have LF 170's, and if the 240 is the same, all you have to do is unscrew the whole body/lens assembly off the base and mounting pillar. There is a small o ring on the mounting that should seal the unit.
Here is a picture of one of my 170's with the lens removed.
